Your child can play the architect, builder, or engineer the use of the variety of wacky parts, gears, levers, and tracks along the Velcro-like play surface. Kids will learn fundamental physics concepts, such as gravity, momentum, and velocity, and problem solving in a fun and interactive way. Smart Lab’s Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab is different from most games because kids create and design how to play. Kids can mix and match different tracks, gears, and levers to manipulate the rolling ball down the track in quite a few ways.
Various Pieces for a Variety of Play
The lab contains 66 pieces, each with a unique characteristic or function that makes it fun to play with in any configuration. Pieces range from a toilet, a cleaning machine, gears, and a cup to a zigzag ramp, boot buster, chicken coop, and stunt pig cannon. There are a number of tracks, stoppers, and steel balls so your child will have Various options for creating new games.
Easy Assembly Without Adult Help
Our tester found the lab easy to assemble and children aged eight and up will have little trouble getting the lab up and running without adult help. The plastic pieces easily snap into place and stick to the board with the Velcro-like system. Simply snap, stick, and play.
Five Course Designs Help Kids Get Started
The lab includes an easy-to-read instructional booklet featuring five fun and educational course designs of varying complexity. Designs include Pigs in Space, Got Time to Clean?, Having Funnel Yet?, Trash can Tipper!, and Gear up for Fun! Each design follows numerous chain reactions towards an outcome–the successful launching of the stunt pig-loaded rocket launcher!
